There will be a number of featured events alongside with the exhibit's showing from June 10 - September 3, 2017 in the Skylight Gallery, Main Library, 6th Floor.

Audio Descriptive Guided Tour: August 24, 5:30 p.m., Skylight Gallery

 

  • The opening event is on June 10th at 1pm in the Koret Auditorium, Lower Level.
  • Disability Activism Then and Now:  A Conversation with Disability About Lessons and Prospects is on July 12th at 6pm in Koret Auditorium, Lower Level.
  • HolLynn D’Lil Presents Her Book: Becoming Real in 24 Days on July 18th at 6:30pm in the Learning Studio, 5th Floor.
  • 1997 Disability Sit-In: The Power of Imagery Photographer Anthony Tusler on August 9th at 6:30pm in the Learning Studio, 5th Floor.
  • Disability Rights Films: The Power of 504 and Lives Worth Living is on August 12th at 1pm in in Koret Auditorium, Lower Level.  The event is co-sponsored by Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF).
  • Corbett Joan O’Toole, Author of Fading Scars, My Queer Disability History is on August 15th at 6:30pm the Learning Studio, 5th Floor.
  • Superfest International Disability Film Festival Showcase is on August 26th at 1pm in Koret Auditorium, Lower Level.
