The San Francisco Green Film Festival will screen the feature-length documentary, Complicit.

"Yi Yeting, a Chinese migrant factory worker, is struggling to survive occupational leukemia and helping others poisoned by assembling smartphones. He brings his fight against benzene from his hospital room to Silicon Valley and the international stage. Against huge odds, Yi confronts corporate and government interests, while empowering and inspiring the people around him.

Benzene and other chemicals dangerous to human health remain a toxic and unwelcome component of the smart phone manufacturing process. Filmed over 3 years in China’s electronics zones Shenzhen and Guangzhou with unique access to the factory floors, this powerful documentary tells the stories of workers who have been poisoned making the devices we can't live without."
